Don’t give up on the season that you’re currently experiencing. It may be uncomfortable and you’re ready for an immediate shift of the season. There is a lesson to be learned in everything that we go through. The key is to go through it and not remain stuck and held hostage. Many times our seasons are growing and maturing us for the next season which is greater than the one we are currently in. God may be pruning things out of your current situation. These things could interfere with the blessings He has for you in the future. We’ve all experienced times when things weren’t going as planned, or we were not where we want to be. It’s tempting to let discouragement and doubt come in and take away the peace and excitement you once had.
You may be in one of those seasons right now, struggling to truly be happy where you are. Struggling and ready to quickly shift to a new season. But this is not the way God wants you to live. He tells us in scripture that even in difficult times, He is with us. Even when you can’t see a way out, He will make a way through. Even when things don’t turn out the way we planned, He has the plan to turn things around for our good.
It might not look like it, but it’s working for your good.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
This verse is a source of comfort and hopes in difficult times. It reminds believers that God is always at work in our lives, even when things are tough. It also emphasizes that God has a purpose for each person and that all of life’s experiences can be used to further that purpose. Romans 8:28 is a powerful statement of faith in God’s goodness and sovereignty and is a source of inspiration for many Christians around the world.
Another key point is to trust in the plan God has for you. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
This verse is a source of comfort and reassurance that God has a positive plan for our lives. We can trust Him to guide us toward a good and fulfilling future. It also emphasizes that God is in control and has a specific purpose for each of our lives.
Furthermore, this verse comes from a letter that the prophet Jeremiah wrote to the exiles in Babylon. They had been taken captive from Jerusalem. In this letter, Jeremiah encourages the exiles to trust in God’s plans for their future, even though they are living in a foreign land. Whew! Can you trust God’s plan when you have no idea what it is? Can you trust God’s plan when it feels as though you are a foreigner in the place He has you in right now?
So don’t give up. Stay focused on who God is and He will direct you to the exact place that you need to be.
