The Elephant in the Room–the topic that’s often avoided, but absolutely necessary to discuss–Domestic Violence. “Nearly 1.5 million high school students in the United States are physically abused by dating partners every year” (National Coalition Against Domestic Violence). A relevant topic of discussion at The Elephant in the Room Teen Workshop was domestic violence to help young ladies understand the impact domestic violence has on teenage and college student relationships.
