Kiwani Murray is the wife of Elder Jeffrey Murray, and the mother of three children, two sons, and a daughter. She was born and raised in Miami, FL and went on to earn a B.S. in Psychology from Central State University and a second post-graduate degree in Criminal Justice.
Mrs. Murray works as a Supervisor for Miami-Dade County in the social services division where she has provided services to young children, inmates, and the elderly community for the past 25 years.
Mrs. Murray is the author of “My Pieces, His Masterpiece”, a memoir that chronicles her life’s experiences and her faith walk. The book was released in January 2019. Her second book “Peace After the Pieces” is scheduled for release in February 2020.
Mrs. Murray is a Co-Founder of the Women’s Empowerment Group, LYLYS (Love Yourself, Love Your Sisterfriends) who’s mission is to encourage, and provide moral and spiritual support to women as they learn to love and empower themselves and foster healthy sisterhoods with other women. The LYLYS group provides words of encouragement, prayer, workshops, seminars, retreats, and other community activities to stimulate women’s wellness.
When she is not working, Mrs. Murray enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
