2019 Love Yourself to Life Nursing Scholarship
The scholarship is open to women age 18 and over who are enrolled in a nursing program. This one-time scholarship of $500.00 must be used for educational purposes only. The prize money must be used for education expenses for the original entrant. Educational expenses include: tuition and fees, room and board, books, computers, and school-related supplies. Documentation of requirements must be produced upon request.
The Scholarship winner for Love Yourself to Life will be selected on or around February 28, 2019. Within three (3) business days of the selection, the potential winner will be notified by e-mail, telephone, regular U. S. postal mail, or by overnight carrier. If the potential winner cannot be contacted after reasonable effort within two (2) days after the first attempt to contact her, this will result in forfeiture of the prize and the next eligible winner will be notified. The Love Yourself to Life scholarship winner must comply with all terms and conditions of the Official Rules and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements listed (see below).
The scholarship money will be paid upon verification that the winner is a currently enrolled student in a college or university. The potential winner must submit, within seven days of being notified, a verified letter from the college/university which indicates dates of enrollment and expected graduation date. The winner must also submit a Liability/Publicity Release, a brief statement of what it means to receive the Love Yourself to Life Scholarship, and a photograph that will be posted on the Love Yourself to Life website and on social media prior to money being awarded.
All federal, state and local taxes, and any other costs and expenses, associated with the receipt or use of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. The scholarship may be tax free if the recipient meets all IRS requirements. To view IRS requirements, please visit http://www.irs.gov.
